Upskill and Evolve was born out of the passion for solving people problems. Upskill and Evolve is being built as a people advisory/ consulting firm with a focus on interventions around Learning and Development, Organization Development, Talent Management, and Digital transition of Learning.
Our team consists of experienced consultants with diverse backgrounds in various industries. We combine our expertise to deliver innovative solutions to our clients. Our fundamental belief is that learning solutions should be a balance of business and people interventions. Hence all our consultants come with hardcoded industry experience.
The People Architect
Upskill and Evolve emerged from a deep-rooted dedication to addressing human resource challenges. Rajesh Rajagopal, also known as RR, transitioned from an accidental engineer to a purpose-driven professional in people development. He is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB)
With 17 years of diverse experience spanning industries like HCL Technologies, Capgemini, Robert Bosch, Urban Ladder, Uber, Simplilearn, NInjacart, and more, he excels in areas such as learning and development, talent management, and digital learning strategies. RR's expertise lies in crafting tailored solutions for L&D teams, integrating digital learning technologies, and providing insights on manager training, leadership interventions, and talent management.
As a respected figure in the industry, he's a member of ATD and SHRM, listed among the Top 20 L&D influencers, recognized as the L&D leader of the year, and serves as an advisor to budding startups in the learning and development sector.
The Leadership Architect
Brigadier Sukumar Vinod is a highly accomplished and versatile professional with over 34 years of distinguished military service, including extensive experience in leadership, management, and operational roles across diverse geographical locations. An expert in goal-oriented training, performance appraisal, and strategic studies focusing on China. He has a proven track record of inspiring high productivity levels, leading cross-functional teams, and maintaining strong relationships with various organizational departments and agencies.
His career highlights include 15 years in key leadership roles in command assignments, HR management, risk assessment and mitigation, training, and active combat operations.
Brigadier Vinod was an instructor in a premier Indian Army Training Institute and handled staff duties at Army Headquarters in New Delhi. He has been head of Administration, Training, HR, and Financial planning at the Defence Space Agency in Bangalore.
He has been awarded the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief's commendation three times for distinguished service in command and staff appointments. Brigadier Vinod's extensive service includes operations across various terrains in India and serving as the Chief Operations Officer of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
